General Ledger Accountant For Egyptian Cotton Hub (ECH)

 Egyptian Cotton Hub (ECH) is hiring a General Ledger Accountant:

Job Duties:
1.  Data Entry and Ledger Maintenance:
-Enter financial data and transactions into the ledger.
-Review financial documents for accuracy and reconcile accounts.
2.  Financial Analysis and Reporting:
-Analyze financial data and provide recommendations.
-Generate financial reports to aid decision-making.
-Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate records.
3.  Regulatory Compliance:
-Ensure that financial records comply with regulatory standards.
-Support the Auditor, Controller, and other financial professionals as needed.
4.  Month-End Closing and Reconciliation:
-Handle full-cycle month-end closing processes.
-Prepare and post journal entries.
-Perform bank reconciliations.
-Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and monthly schedules

Job Requirements:
-Education:
A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is typically required.

-Experience:
2-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
Exposure to audit, tax, and financial reporting is essential.
Familiarity with budgeting and financial analysis is advantageous.

-Skills and Competencies:
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing financial data.
Problem-Solving: Address complex financial issues.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Uphold ethical conduct in financial practices.
